Ellen Behrend

Ellen N. Behrend, VMD, PhD, DACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine) is Joezy Griffin Professor emerita in the Department of Clinical Sciences, Auburn University. She is currently a consultant for the Veterinary Information Network. Dr. Behrend received her VMD degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1988 and her PhD from Auburn University in 2001. She has authored numerous scientific publications, including journal articles, book chapters and abstracts and served as an editor for the endocrinology section of several textbooks. She has provided 100’s of continuing education lectures at national and international conferences.
