Dr. Kate Baker grew up in Nashville, Tennessee and earned her DVM at the University of Tennessee in 2012. She then went on to complete a small animal rotating internship and a 3 year Clinical Pathology Residency and Masters degree at the University of Illinois. Dr. Baker became board certified in Veterinary Clinical Pathology in 2016 and currently works as an educator, diagnostician, and consultant. She offers continuing education courses through her website, Veterinary Cytology Schoolhouse, as well as telecytology consultations through her online diagnostic service, Pocket Pathologist. She lives on a small farm in Tennessee with her husband and two small children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, trying new craft beers, and music festivals.
