Lauren graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She worked as an Associate Veterinarian in small animal exclusive general practice for 11 years before opening her own veterinary relief business in 2019. She has over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, and has special interests in internal medicine, feline medicine, dentistry, and emergency medicine. She is currenlty a Masters degree candidate in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of North Alabama. She is passionate about advocating for mental health services for veterinarians and other medical professionals. Besides podcasting, her hobbies include competing in powerlifting at the state and national levels, dancing and gardening.
